What else do you want to see IN THE MOMENT?

Hey guys!

As we start thinking about the next set of IN THE MOMENT episodes, we'd like to know what you think we need more of. What issues impact your decisions to engage in or avoid behaviors that would put you or the guys you have sex with at risk for HIV or other STDs?

I think it would be great to have some characters with homophobia. We have all seen these gay guys who constantly try to fit into the "straight guy" norm. They criticize other guys who present themselves in stereotypical gay guy ways (mannerism). For example, I have seen many postings in which someone will say something like, "I have a thing for straight guys" or "I want a straight acting guy, no fems". What does this really say about homophobia in our community? This is especially apparent with regard to the Transgender community. Don't get me started.

I believe Mark has a great idea. His reply was on "Reply by Mark on June 7, 2009 at 1:16am". A "not so pretty boy", (his idea) and combine it with a person who is positive. Maybe throw an added twist and give him a disability that he is able to cope very well. He is in a wheelchair and wants a relationship. He has been making great posiive decisions since the time he had been diagnosed but a personal life is null and void. I'd love to see my life on the web in a positive perspective with hopefully a happy ending.

In Vito Russo's book In The Celluloid Closet, and in his documentary (of the same title) he talks about the first depictions of homosexuality in hollywood and basically the lack there of. (At the risk of sounding totally NERD) Before the 1930's there were like no gay characters in films. So all the sad gays at home were like "when is there going to be a gay prince charming?" "when will i see someone like me?"
Although today i'm glad to be able to sit, and just watch something, that is not only gay, but totally dedicated to gay issues, i can't help but feel a small absence watching the characters because they're all so intense. so i must agree with the previous comments and say that I WOULD LIKE TO SE MORE normal looking people. Where are the guys with the skinny arms and undefined abs. common. Its not pritty but its real.

i love the std thing but i think edger should have a boyfriend he is to wild unless he is about to get hit with an std and his friends/family are going to have to help with his new life or a nice new guy that helps edger come to sense with what he is doing like the new guy that just moved in or his room ate who is HOT with his new hair cut!

I would like to see More of the where the characters work and their families.
